Tatiana Konstantinoff is an artist currently living and working in The Land of Enchantment; Santa Fe, New Mexico. Born in Liege, Belgium, she grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, then emigrated to US (San Francisco, CA) at the age of ten. Tatiana grew up amidst the beautiful art of Byzantine Orthodox Icons, as her grandfather was a Choir Master in several Orthodox churches. She learned, at a very young age, to appreciate and love these wonderful images.
The memory of the wafting aroma of beeswax, the flickering of candle-light before the images, the soft singing of the choir, the smell of Frankincense, and the soothing peace that she felt when gazing at the icons, was the inspiration, in 1998, for Tatiana's company. The Illumine Arts line of products....candles, cards, magnets, and prints, was conceived and developed to reflect the beauty, serenity, joy, upliftment, inspiration, and healing power that timeless sacred images offer us.
It is the artist's hope that Illumine Arts can be a "candle in the dark" to people from all walks of life, in all parts of world.
Many Blessings.
